Kim McMahon in need of double-lung transplant
Kim McMahon suffers from COPD and respiratory-bronchiolitis ILD. Her team of doctors at National Jewish Health recommend a double-lung transplant. Without it, the specialists say she could have two to 24 months of life.
Kim must qualify both health-wise and financially. The folks of Christ the King Community Church, where Kim attends, sponsored a lunch buffet benefit, silent auction, and raffle on Sunday, April 15, at Roy’s Last Shot Restaurant on Highway 119 in mid-Gilpin County. Roy & Barb Stewart of the Last Shot graciously provided and prepared the delicious food. Some of their staff donated their time. Church members operated the ticket sales, raffle, and auction and also made sure patrons had plenty of food and soft drinks. Many local merchants and individuals generously donated goods and services.
