Training Program offered by COFA
PRESS RELEASE – This COFA sponsored program introduces attendees to the knowledge, skills, and attitude involved in safely, responsibly and effectively employing a concealed pistol for self-defense. This is an intensive advanced course, as the attendees must learn and practice many diverse shooting skills in order to respond quickly and appropriately to a broad range of threats he or she may encounter outside the home. The program will also cover legal and ethical ramifications when responding to a life-threatening encounter using a concealed pistol and social aftermath of the use of deadly force. All participants MUST have successfully completed a Basic Pistol Course or hold a current concealed permit. Instructor is a former Chief of Police and a nationally certified NRA firearms instructor.
