On Central City’s Main Street

On Saturday, July 20th, pop and rock tunes from the 80’s drew crowds to the pedestrian friendly Main Street of downtown Central City. Main Street, blocked off from vehicle traffic, gave way to booths, food, gunfights, illusions and good old fashioned 1980’s brand of rock and roll. Attendees were encouraged to dress according to the decade and you could occasionally glimpse a young Madonna or Jennifer Beals of Flash Dance fame. The Wild Bunch Gang was on hand to entertain the crowd as they shoot each other to death every hour. They were even seen using innocent civilians in their duels. The smells of barbecued pork, fresh brewed coffee, green chili, and grilled brats wafted up and down the street.
