Bobby R. Putnam, Sr., 80, of Black Hawk, died at his home on Sunday, August 18, 2013.
He was born on October 14, 1932, in Belmont, North Carolina. He graduated from high school in 1950 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was retired from the Denver Post.
