Gilpin only has 16 cases of Coronavirus – state and county mask order extended

During an unusual Thursday meeting on August 6, 2020, Gilpin Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) held an online meeting that featured topics of two grant requests, an agreement that will assist Gilpin residents seek gainful employment, and a possible land deal with Proximo Distilleries. Board-Chair Gail Watson opened up the meeting at 9:00 am along with Commissioners Ron Engels and Linda Isenhart. Also online were County Attorney Brad Benning, Deputy Clerk Sharon Cate, and members from the Senior Leadership Team who joined in as needed. County Manager Abel Montoya was absent.
