Seniors recognized for participation in winter sports

Gilpin Eagles varsity basketball teams celebrated Senior Night on Friday, February 8 by hosting the Dawson School Mustangs of Lafayette in a conference showdown. Gilpin boys conquered their opponents 44-27. The girls took a 39-26 loss to Dawson. The Lady Eagles have had a difficult season, but continue to play courageously.
