Of the Public Trustee Association of Colorado
PRESS RELEASE – Gilpin County Treasurer and Public Trustee, Alynn K. Huffman, was installed as the President of the Public Trustee Association of Colorado during their June Conference in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Her peers voted that Alynn, who has been the Treasurer and Public Trustee for the past thirteen years in Gilpin County, has the knowledge and experience needed to lead the Association during the next year.
Alynn also has the distinction of being “Colorado State Certified” through the Association and in conjunction with Colorado Mesa University. In order to accomplish this goal, a Public Trustee must meet several criteria set by the Association during a four-year term relating to experience, education and leadership. Alynn completed this goal in 2006, 2010 and will re-certify in 2014.
