Medical experts advising to wear masks to prevent airborne infection

Mountain residents may not be hearing jets flying over their heads, but scissors and sewing machines are constantly “flying” in homes. On March 21st, volunteers for the Mountain Mask Project begin to make and delivery free face masks for our local businesses and organization. Numbers have quickly jumped in two weeks from 10-20 requests to nearly 1,000 masks that have now been distributed throughout our communities. Over 34 requests from businesses, organizations, city and county employees, fire departments, U.S. postal workers, and others have received masks.
