Architect RS Roeschlaub designed the Central City Opera House
By Jaclyn Schrock
The Central City Opera House Association and the Opera Guild hosted an afternoon tea on the 2nd floor of the Teller House on Sunday, May 19th at noon, to honor Robert S. Roeschlaub, Colorado architect who designed the Central City Opera House. The tea was set for dates to correspond to visits of Roeschlaub’s decedents. Robert and Ann Roeschlaub’s great, great granddaughter with her daughter contacted the Central City Opera House to see if they could tour the building their ancestor had designed. They traveled from Pennsylvania to Colorado to visit a few of the eight buildings on the National Register of Historic Places that R.S. Roeschlaub had been the architect for, which still remain.
