ISPD fights crime: two arests, one night
On the evening of Feb. 8,
the Idaho Springs Police
Department (ISPD) dealt
with two significant crimi-
nal incidents in the city.
Boulevard. As it
turned out, the plate
was associated with
a male wanted for
first-degree kidnap-
ping.
The first incident started
with a routine traffic stop
in the 1300 block of Miner
Street for an obscured li-
cense plate. The passenger,
Doug Jump, 41, of Empire,
was wanted on a Denver
felony warrant for posses-
sion of drugs to distribute a
controlled substance, first-
degree vehicle theft and
reckless driving.
