Kickflips and tailslides

About forty boarders paid a twenty dollar entry fee on Sunday, September 17th at the Ned Skatepark for a cool T-shirt and a chance show off their stuff. Classes for all ages and skill levels included: 10 and under Bowl, 11-13 Bowl, 14-17 Bowl, 18-39 Bowl, 40+ Bowl, Women Bowl, Novice Street, Intermediate Street, and Expert Street. The rail round bar and “death star” made for intimidating starting points. The pyramid in the center of the street course was conducive for radical air, maneuvers and tricks. Millie flips on the vertical wall, finger flip tail stalls, boneless 180s, kickflips, inward heelflips, and tailslide reverts were the order of the day. Backcountry Pizza supplied free pizza and Electric Toast the tunes. The top four finishers in each category won a prize.
