October 12, 1930 – July 4, 2018
Florence “Flo” A. (Mischke) Bostick, age 87, formerly of Westcliffe and Black Hawk, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Warren Barr Nursing Care of Lincolnshire. She was born October 12, 1930 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, John and Margaret Mischke.
Flo was a long-time educator in Black Hawk, Florida, and Illinois. She was a long-time teacher at Gilpin County School. She retired from there in 1998 and then moved to Westcliffe. She loved Colorado and was sorry to move to Illinois, but that was where all her family was after her husband died (Harry Bostick). She always looked forward to receiving the Weekly Register-Call, and was a subscriber until she couldn’t read it anymore. She maintained contact with many of her friends in the Black Hawk and Gilpin County community.
