Visitors’ Center Showcase Gallery Hosts New Art Exhibit
It doesn’t take much awareness to note the changing seasons in Gilpin County. Leaf peepers abound to enjoy the fall colors and residents have already needed to use snow removal equipment.
On the second floor of the Central City Visitors’ Center, “A Change of Seasons” is also noted. This new exhibit features painter John Cieraszynski; photographer Gale Gatto; and silversmith Tom Cowherd. The show includes large framed paintings and photographs, unframed art, cards, necklaces and earrings. In each of the artist’s work, visitors will experience the changes in landscape and the rich fall colors. The art is displayed to enjoy, as well as to purchase. Come take a few minutes out of your day and browse the small gallery. Come see what our mountain artists are creating. You are sure to find something you’ll want to take home!
