Black Hawk Police Report

January 18
Criminal traffic violation —
Officers conducted a traffic stop
in the 100 block of Gregory
Street in Black Hawk. The ve-
hicle did not have visible plates.
Officers contacted the driver
of the vehicle and learned that
it was a rental vehicle and did
have paperwork attached to
the front and back windows of
the vehicle. Officers gave the
driver a verbal warning along
with a business card.

Theft — A wallet was stolen
from Bally’s North Casino. A
male party was seen picking
the wallet off the floor and put-
ting it in his pants. Surveillance
is reviewing camera footage
and player card info. Charges
pending identification of the
suspect.

Damaged property — BHPD
Officers responded to the
Monarch Casino on the report
of a guest breaking everything.
Upon investigations, Officers
discovered that two parties
were having a verbal argument,
and no property was damaged.
Parties were cooperative and
were separated for the night,
and no one was charged.
