Running for Colorado House District 13
PRESS RELEASE – Democrat Judy Amabile will push for bold solutions to key issues impacting Colorado as the Representative for House District 13, a seat currently held by term-limited Speaker of the House KC Becker. “My experience has prepared me to take on this role,” said Judy. “I’ve made my life in Colorado, raising a family, co-founding Polar Bottle, a successful manufacturing business, and advocating passionately for issues like the environment, access to mental health care, and economic mobility. I believe in progress for all.”
Judy understands that the 2021 Legislature must address the impacts of COVID-19 on Colorado’s economy, and the first priority will be balancing the budget. Within that framework, she will strive to make progress on meaningful mental health legislation including addiction issues, as well as environmental protections and economic equity for all Coloradans. Additionally, Judy will focus on achieving longer term solutions to Colorado’s revenue and taxation systems.
