Showcase Gallery in Central City

Are you tired of the drab hues of winter and seek warmth and solace in an explosion of color? The Showcase Gallery in Central City has opened a new exhibit featuring the work of Donna Dannen, Gregg Harkenrider, and Charles Hernandez, called Cathedral of Color and it is just the thing to brighten your day. Hernandez creates beautiful stone, gem, and glass beaded jewelry complementing vibrant paintings swirling with imagination. Gregg Harkenrider’s paintings seem to be an extension of Hernandez’ while his glass creations mesmerize as the colors slowly change. Donna Dannen captures precious moments in time between animals, nature, and landscapes, revealing joy in the world around us. Gallery Manager Michele Rouseau has masterfully displayed these exquisite pieces in the unique one-room gallery above the Central City Visitors Center for viewing and purchasing. Cathedral of Color will be on display through April 28.
