Gilpin trounces Twin Peaks Charter and South Park

Gilpin’s varsity volleyball athletes celebrated two wins last week as they squared off against the Twin Peaks Charter Academy Timberwolves and the South Park Burros. Twin Peaks (Longmont) visited the Gilpin Lady Eagles on Friday night, September 28 in a conference contest. The Eagles won 3-0, with set scores of 25/12, 25/14, and 25/21. The triumph improves their season record to 5-8, 3-4 in league play. The Timberwolves have a record of 3-9, winning 2 of their 5 league games.
